2022 - 2023 Operating Fund Budget - Preliminary Draft Document (presented April 4, 2022)
Divisional Budget
The link below is to the Divisional Budget document for the development of the 2022-2023 Annual Budget. The three columns in the document (left to right) are the preliminary 2021-2022 Annual Budget, the year-to-date results to March 31, 2022 and the Draft Base Budget for 2022-2023. Pages 1-5 are consolidated numbers for all departments and the subsequent pages show individual department budgets. The Draft Base Budget is the detail for the Summary Schedules (2, 2A, and 2B) on pages 13-15 of the 2022-2023 Operating Fund Budget Preliminary Draft Document presented on April 4, 2022.
2022/2023 Budget Timeline
The budget email address (budget2022-2023@vsb.bc.ca) is now active for accepting written submissions regarding budget priorities for development of the 2022-2023 operating budget. All written submissions to the Board are considered public documents. The Board, therefore, reserves the right to make any submissions available to the public.
The Budget Process Timeline for the 2022-2023 Preliminary Annual Budget was presented at the January 12, 2022 Finance Committee meeting for review, and was approved by the Board at the January 31, 2022 Board Meeting.
Registration is now open for delegations wishing to present at budget Committee-of-the-Whole meetings (scheduled for March 8, April 12, and May 3, 2022).
If you wish to present regarding budget priorities or the draft status quo budget, please email budget2022-2023@vsb.bc.ca. Your email must be received by 4:30 pm on the Wednesday before the applicable Committee-of-the-Whole Board meeting date. Please indicate if you will present as an individual or on behalf of a group and include the name of the group, if applicable.
Registered delegations will be sent a confirmation email (with instructions) and will be listed on the applicable meeting agenda, which will be posted on the website. Technical support will be provided, as required.
