Introduction
French 9 focuses on the purposeful use of the language to perform real-life tasks, share ideas, and acquire information. The course uses the Vista Higher Learning (VHL) online program called “D’Accord”. The program covers the main skills of language learning through written/reading tasks as well as aural/oral activities. Each unit will cover a different theme which presents useful vocabulary and grammar structures along with cultural components.

In the café | In this unit, students will learn how to order in restaurants, food, and drinks. |
Hobbies | In this unit, students will learn different hobbies and interests, describing the weather/season, and different vacation days. |
Celebrations | In this unit, students will learn to talk birthdays, celebrations, and clothing. |
Vacation | In this unit, students will learn about ways to describe trips, ways to get to their vacation destinations, and what they enjoy. |
