Introduction
Gender Studies 12 explores how gender continually influences the structure of social, economic, and political relationships. Further, this course examines past and current issues that help to shape the identity of the individual as well as society. Specifically, GS12 is designed to provide students with the opportunity to critically analyze various media through an interdisciplinary lens. Students will complete a variety of assignments with an inquiry capstone project to highlight their learning.
Where does this course fit?
- Pre-requisite: This Grade 12 course is also open to Grade 10 and 11 students who have taken, or are currently taking, Social Studies 10.
- Graduation Status: Qualify for a senior elective credit towards graduation program
