Introduction
In Spanish 11, students will develop their knowledge of the Spanish language by studying a variety of themes. Students will further enhance their oral, aural, written and reading skills by learning new vocabulary and grammar structures. They will be able to interact spontaneously and communicate in the present, past and simple future tenses. This course uses an increasing variety of Spanish media and Internet resources to locate information and complete various tasks. The variety of vocabulary found in the different units will also expose students to a range of Spanish authentic creative works which will in effect expand students’ knowledge of Spanish and Latin American customs and culture within the study of the language.
Where does this course fit?
- Prerequisites: Introductory Spanish 11 or Spanish 10
- Graduation Status: Elective for graduation
- Students who are native Spanish speakers and have been exposed to introductory Spanish.
- The Follow-Up Course is Spanish 12.
